Evoland II is the successor to the highly original and enjoyable but all too short title from Shiro Games. As you’d expect from the first, you start out the game with a minimalistic RPG engine and literally no story or even sound let alone colors. It’s your progress through the game that adds game mechanics and an ever expanding plot which involves more active characters than the last offer. Advancing from a grayscale 8-bit game to a full fledged 3D open world action RPG and everything in between. Being based around time travel the game immediately reminds me of Chrono Trigger but that would be putting it lightly. This time around there’s SRPG, Shooter, Rhythm, Platformer and even Fighting game mechanics. From what I’ve played so far, it’s also full of side quests and little features that add more replayability to the game than the first. And just like the first, it’s full of jokes and references very cleverly presented.
This is the GOG version, no activation/crack/serials needed.
Just install and play! the game is DRM free as if you owned it.
