The fifth and the final installment in Koei’s Eiketsuden series produced by Eiji Fukuzawa, set in the Three Kingdoms period of ancient China (like Eiketsuden and Koumeiden before it). Legend of Cao Cao focuses on Cao Cao, the legendary leader of the Wei kingdom during the era. The gameplay is just like the other Eiketsuden games, with a new feature which players should choose to be faithful to Cao Cao or not during the course of the events. In the middle of the game’s story there will be two branching paths with two different endings. The game has over 60 possible scenarios in all. The game has became a cult classic in China and Japan when it first came out.
