Romance of the Three Kingdoms XI, also known as San Goku Shi 11, is the the 11th installment in the longest running Romance of the Three Kingdoms strategy game series by Koei. The game (and the franchise) is based on the epic Romance of the Three Kingdoms novel by Luo Guanzhong (which was also the basis for the Dynasty Warriors series), set in ancient China during the end of the Han Dynasty and 2nd and 3rd centuries AD. The game is produced by legendary game producer Kou Shibusawa, also known for the Nobunaga’s Ambition franchise.
